Sorry for the Delay - by John

Sorry for the delay on the start of the online devotionals and the current absence of the first four. To say that the last two weeks has been busy for us all here at Leawood would be an understatement. We, like you, are living one day at a time as far as what type of planning we can do. Although this may sound like an excuse for not being ready to begin the month, it is not. I offer this as explanation only. I do take it seriously that you have been reading the words I write and have been using these devos as a resource. If you are willing, please make this a matter of prayer as Pastor Floyd and Brother Clayton are writing the sets of ten for the middle and last part of the month. They, as well, take it very seriously that you trust us with your quiet time. As a side note, Pastor Isaias has been and is currently reading and writing papers constantly as he draws near the completion of his Doctoral Degree in seminary so he has not been able to join the writing team for any of the devotionals this year. My intention is to go forward from this date (May 5) and to possibly "back date write" for May 1-4. Again, sorry for the delay!
