November 13, 2020 - A Praise for Deliverance

“I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders...” Psalm 9:1

King David was a mighty warrior and a victor on many occasions. Here David has defeated his enemy and is giving God the Glory and praise for the victory. He is also looking forward to other opportunities that he will have to praise God for victories in the future. Hallelujah.

Today we have the same reason to praise God when He delivers us and gives us victory over our enemy, Satan. In Ephesians 6:10-17, God encourages us to daily put on the armor of God in order to fight against Satan and his schemes. Verse 11 says, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”

We must put our faith and trust in God to win these battles. In I Peter 5:8 it says,

"Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” So we must always be prepared for what Satan has up his shelves to tempt us with daily. We’ve got to be prepared.

We will face all kinds of battles in this life but God wants us to be victorious in Jesus Name. Some struggles will seem hopeless but Jesus said that He’s already overcome this world. Whatever we face, we can be winners through Jesus Christ. Trust Him. "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." John 16:33
