“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.’” Mark 10:27

Several years ago while working in Moyo, Uganda, the war in South Sudan intensified. One Sunday morning a runner came to our Compound and told me I was needed at the field just outside the Multipurpose building. When we arrived there we immediately saw the problem. Sometime during the night almost 10,000 South Sudanese had crossed the border seeking refuge.

Some had only the clothes on their backs. Others had some household item; none of them had food.

They asked if U.C.E. could help them. Beloved, I knew that UCE did not have resources to feed 10,000 people, but I responded, “We will pray and do what we can.” I shared the need on Facebook and with a few friends. The Lord answered our prayers. UCE fed 10,000 people for 18 days until the UN arrived.

Beloved, we need to remember that no matter what we face in this life that we are not alone. No matter how impossible the task may seem, we serve the God of the impossible. The Lord is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can think or ask. I can assure you that our God is greater than ANY struggle that you will face.

We need to encourage others who are facing impossible odds that God is the God of the impossible. Share your stories of God’s grace to those around you today. Help other to know the greatness of God.
